A great advantage of the wheelchair rickshaw is that you can also reach hard-to-reach places that are inaccessible to other vehicles. For example, you can drive through the narrow streets of Munich’s old town or along the banks of the Isar! It is important to emphasize that wheelchair rickshaws are not only suitable for tourists, but also for locals who want to experience the city in a different way. With a wheelchair rickshaw, people with mobility impairments can explore the city in an accessible way and thus have an unforgettable experience.

Since 2023 will are offering wheelchair users city tours and trips through the English Garden on our wheelchair rickshaw! Our rickshaw guides are experienced cyclists who are very familiar with the history of the city and will give you an entertaining time!

The tour begins in downtown Munich (of course we can also pick you up from your home or hotel in the Munich area), where you will be greeted by your rickshaw driver. During the tour you will have the opportunity to see some of Munich’s most famous sights. For example, you can drive past Marienplatz, the heart of the city, and admire the carillon tower of the New Town Hall. You can also drive past the impressive Frauenkirche, a Munich landmark.

During the journey you can also drive through the English Garden, one of the largest parks in Europe. Here you can observe the green surroundings and the many recreational activities that the park has to offer. At the Eisbach you can watch the surfers on the Eisbach wave and enjoy a snack at the Chinese Tower Beergarden!

Another popular route for a rickshaw tour of Munich is along the Isar, the river that flows through the city. Here you can enjoy the beautiful scenery and the many sights along the river. Sit back and enjoy the scenery while your rickshaw driver shares interesting information about the city with you.

The wheelchair rickshaw offers space for a push wheelchair. The total weight on the platform must not exceed 120 kg. The battery charge of the e-rickshaw lasts approx. 30 to 50 kilometers, depending on driving behavior. Otherwise there are no limits! We can also offer you normal rickshaws for rent and rental bikes for a family trip!
